New Delhi:
Social networking site Facebook has hired Ankur Dahiya, a student of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Twenty one-year-old Ankur, who belongs to Rohtak, will have a package of Rs 65 lakh.
This is the first time that Facebook has hired someone from IIT-Delhi. Ankur's family is elated.
"Since the time I heard that Facebook is coming to our campus, I wanted to get selected. My dream has come true," said Ankur.
Facebook tried to recruit students from the institute last year as well but failed. They then hired a student from IIT-Chennai.
Ankur will be placed in Paolo Alto, California, after he finishes his course next year.
