Farmers Protest Live Updates: To ensure law and order, Delhi police enforced Section 144.

The farmers protesting over a list of demands will soon resume their march towards Delhi after a night halt . Authorities have intensified security arrangements to stop farmers' march as the Singhu and Tikri borders were shut while the Red Fort complex was closed temporarily.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha are spearheading the 'Delhi Chalo' agitation to put pressure on the Centre for their demands, including a law on minimum support price for crops and loan waivers.

To ensure law and order, Delhi police enforced Section 144, restricting the entry of tractor trolleys and large assemblies.

Farmers Protest Updates: Union Minister Arjun Munda who is also negotiating with farmer leaders speaks on Farmers' protest.
He says, "...I would like to urge all the leaders from different farmers' organizations to cooperate and communicate so that the common people shouldn't have to suffer, govt is determined in this regard... We have assured them that all the works of administrative nature will be fast-tracked... But in the formulation of new laws, there are so many things to consider... In the coming days, we want to discuss with the farmers' organizations and to look for any possible solutions..."

Farmers Protest Live Updates: Traffic affected as Delhi's border areas heavily barricaded due to farmers' protest
Traffic was affected in the border areas of Delhi on Wednesday as police erected several layers of barricades and stopped the movement of vehicles at the Singhu and Tikri borders in view of farmers' proposed march to Delhi.

While Singhu and Tikri borders with Haryana have been entirely closed for traffic, vehicular movement is still allowed at the Ghazipur border in a regulated manner.

A section of a road in a village near the Singhu border was dug up to prevent the farmers' march to Delhi.

Farmers' 'Dilli Chalo' protest: Suspension of internet services extended till Feb 15 in seven districts of Haryana

Mobile internet services, bulk SMS and all dongle services will continue to remain suspended in seven districts of Haryana for another 48 hours till February 15 midnight in view of the 'Delli Chalo' call given by farmers' organisations.

The mobile services were earlier suspended on February 11 morning till February 13 midnight.

According to a notification issued by the Haryana administration, bulk SMS and all dongle services provided on mobile networks, except voice calls, will remain suspended in the jurisdiction of districts Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa.

Farmers Protest Live Updates: Delhi remains under tight security as farmer determined to march

With protesting farmers seeking to march to the national capital, security remained tight on Wednesday with personnel deployed in huge numbers and barricades regulating movement in central Delhi and at border points with Haryana, which can cause hardships to commuters.

The traffic movement at Singhu (Delhi-Sonipat) and Tikri borders (Delhi-Bahadurgarh) is suspended, an official said, adding the security personnel in anti-riot gear are deployed and drones being used to keep an eye on the situation.

Multiple layers of barricades, concrete blocks, iron nails and container walls have been placed at Singhu and Tikri borders as well as Ghazipur border.

An official said the security arrangements at border points and in central Delhi could be increased if required.

With massive security arrangements at the three border points, commuters may again face difficulties in reaching their destination.
