In a horrific incident, a man in Uttar Pardesh's Bahraich allegedly axed his three children today reportedly because his wife went to her parents' place and he was unable to take care of them.
Siyaram Mishra, 28, axed his three children Rajan (9), Shalini (6) and Mohini (5) in Ikauna area in Sharvasti district this morning when he woke up and found his children crying over something, police said.
Siyaram's wife had gone to visit her parents yesterday with one of her children.
The villagers, who claimed that Siyaram was mentally unstable, reportedly caught him when he tried to escape after committing the crime.
