25-year-old Musa was arrested from the Burdwan railway station in July this year
Kolkata:
A seven-member team of the US security agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI, is set to interrogate ISIS terrorist Mohammed Musiruddin alias Musa, National Investigative Agency officials said today.
Musa, a resident of Birbhum district in West Bengal, was arrested for links with ISIS. Officials said that Musa, who also has links to Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh or JMB, was making efforts to radicalise youth and encourage them to join ISIS.
He was found to be in touch with radical elements in Syria, Afghanistan and Bangladesh via social media. Musiruddin had allegedly told his 'handlers' that he was willing to target foreign nationals including US citizens in India.
The 25-year-old was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department of the West Bengal police from the Burdwan railway station in July this year. He was later handed over to NIA.
In August, an intelligence team from Dhaka had come to Kolkata to interrogate Musa.
