Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, was discharged today, sources told NDTV.
The 63-year-old BJP leader was admitted to the premier medical institute on Monday with symptoms of viral fever and stomach infection.
Ms Sitharaman was in a private ward of the hospital, a source said.
On December 25, Ms Sitharaman had paid floral tributes to former prime minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on his birth anniversary at 'Sadaiv Atal' in New Delhi.
A day earlier, on Saturday, she attended the 35th annual convocation of The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University in Chennai.
