Fire breaks out at Delhi's Shastri Bhavan; situation under control

New Delhi: A fire broke out at the capital's Shastri Bhavan on Saturday morning. The incident took place on the first floor of the building at the MTNL office. However, according to reports, the fire has been doused and the situation is under control.

No one was injured in the fire which is suspected to have broken out due to a short circuit.

The blaze was reported at around 9:10 am.

According to reports, eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and though it took some time and effort, the situation was brought under control.

Many ministers have their office at Shastri Bhavan.
