The pantry car of Rajdhani Express caught fire early Tuesday morning
Dibrugarh:
A pantry car of the Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express caught fire near Dharamtul station in Assam at about 4 this morning. No casualties were however reported.
A short circuit is believed to have caused the fire. As firetenders rushed to the spot, the pantry car was isolated from the rest of train to prevent further damage.
The train left the station after a five-hour delay.
Several trains on the Guwahati-Lumding railway track were also stopped for three hours, Railway sources said.
