Jamui: An encounter between Maoists and the security forces in Jamui in Bihar has left 5 policemen and one Naxal dead.
A team of policemen from the Special Task Force and the CRPF have been carrying out combing operations to flush out the Naxalites. Further, a company of 131 CRP batallion has been rushed to the spot.
Initial reports suggest that about 50 Maoist fully armed gathered near Sonu police station area on the Saturday evening.
The Bihar police has announced Rs 22 lakhs for each of its men killed.
