Jalore/Jaipur, Rajasthan: Heavy rainfall has disrupted normal life in south Rajasthan, as areas bordering Gujarat are battling a flood like situation for the past few days. Army helicopters and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams on motorboats have been pressed into service, rescuing more than 50 people so far.
Tourists have been stranded in the popular spot of Mount Abu as the road link has been cut off due to landslides. There is no power supply at the hill station, electricity lines have been down for the past two days due to incessant rain.
