Dense fog today affected rail services in Rajasthan as cold conditions prevailed in the state with Churu recording a low of 3.6 degrees Celsius.
24 trains under the North-Western Railways were running late from up 45 minutes to 14 hours, four trains got cancelled and one was rescheduled in view of the fog in the northern areas, a North-Western Railways spokesperson said.
Sriganganagar and Sikar's low settled at an identical five degrees Celsius, a Meteorological Department official said.
Mount Abu, the sole hill station in the state, recorded a night temperature of 2 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures at Jaipur, Dabok, Jodhpur, Kota and Barmer were recorded at 5.7, 6.6, 8.2, 10 and 10.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
