Fog, cold disrupts life in Rajasthan
Jaipur: Fog and intense cold conditions disrupted normal life in Rajasthan affecting flights and traffic on the highway.

Due to the fog and poor visibility flights were rescheduled at the Sanganer airport, Aiport Director Anuj Agrawal said.

Traffic on highways was also affected and many roadways buses got delayed by two-three hours.

Phalodi was the coldest place in the state with a minimum temperature of 2 degrees Celsius, a Met official said on Saturday.

Fog and ground frost appeared early this morning in Jaipur, Kota, Bundi, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Ganganagar. The capital city Jaipur, which was engulfed in fog till late in the morning, recorded a minimum temperature of 3.3 degree Celsius, five degrees below normal, which is seasons' lowest.

Jaisalmer and Sawaimadhopur had an identical low of 4.3 deg C, while Bundi recorded a minimum of 5.2 deg C. Chittorgarh had a low of 5.5 deg C followed by Dabok at 6 deg C.

Ajmer and Bikaner recorded minimum of 6.2 degrees each, while Barmer recorded a low of 6.4 deg C. Sikar had a minimum of 6.5 deg C followed by Churu 6.7 deg C and Ganganagar 7.2 deg C.

Kota and Dholpur each recorded a similar minimum of 7.5 deg C, while Jodhpur recorded 7.8 deg C.

Cold conditions are likely to remain same during the next few days, according to the Met forecast.
