London: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in London on Thursday for a packed three-day visit, one British policeman struggled to keep his excitement in check.
It is not every day that a visiting dignitary is from his own birthplace.
Vishal Gosain is from PM Modi's home state Gujarat. He says he was specially requested by the Metropolitan Police for Mr Modi's security detail, mainly because he speaks Gujarati, the prime minister's native language.
"I was asked to come here so I could speak in Gujarati to the supporters of Mr Modi," he told NDTV, sharing that his family was also very excited.
Vishal Gosain says he will be present at Wembley Stadium, where PM Modi will address an expected 60,000 members of the Indian community tomorrow.
During his visit, PM Modi will meet with British Prime Minister David Cameron, lunch with Queen Elizabeth and also interact with industry leaders.
