Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today advocated 'no-work-no-pay' rule for lawmakers in the country if there is no Question Hour and less than two hours of regular business.
Mr Abdullah tweeted:
The working president of opposition National Conference was apparently referring to the logjam in the Parliament over the issue of corruption.
Mr Abdullah tweeted:
If Parliament/Assembly don't have Question Hour & at least 2 hours of regular business no salary & allowances should be paid for that day.
