New Delhi: Arun Nehru, former union minister and a powerful figure during the Prime Ministership of Rajiv Gandhi, passed away on Thursday after prolonged illness.
Mr Nehru, 69, a cousin of Rajiv Gandhi and Minister for Internal Security in his government, died in a hospital in Gurgaon, according to family sources.
The funeral will take place at the Lodhi crematorium in Delhi on Friday (July 26).
