Two days after being removed as Uttar Pradesh chief secretary, Deepak Singhal was today appointed Chairman of State Vigilance Commission and Administrative Tribunal.
An official spokesman said Mr Singhal, who was waiting for posting, was given the new posting today.
Principal Secretary Medical Education and Lucknow Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey was made Principal Secretary Finance department and Finance Commissioner.
Mr Pandey will also hold additional charge of medical education department, the spokesman said.
Secretary Vocational Education and Kaushal Vikas, Bhuvnesh Kumar has been given additional charge as Lucknow Commissioner.
