New Delhi: Four people have been arrested by the Delhi Police for trying to access the cellphone records of BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
The first arrest over the weekend was of a Delhi constable named Arvind Dabas; after that, three private detectives have been arrested.
The police says that in recent weeks, the same gang tried to access the cellphone records of at least 12 politicians, telegraphing "a larger conspiracy."
Mr Dabas allegedly tried to use the official email address of a senior police officer to petition a telecom to share call detail records for the BJP leader.
