Phulbani (Orissa): A local court on Saturday sentenced four persons to rigorous imprisonment for three years for torching houses during riots in Kandhamal in 2008.
Additional Sessions Judge, Chittaranjan Das of fast track court-2 convicted the four for setting on fire the houses of seven persons at Sadakupa village under G Udaygiri police station in September 2008.
Altogether, 25 persons were charge sheeted, but 21 were acquitted.
