Katni (MP): In a freak incident, a 30-year-old woman and her three-year-old son were electrocuted to death when the solar eclipse was on Wednesday morning in the district.
The incident took place in Amgawan village under the Rithi Police Station area, about 30 km from.
Police said that when the eclipse began, the woman Deepa Bai, who was the wife of Khilawan had come out of her house with their three-year-old son Raja to see the solar eclipse.
As darkness of the eclipse enveloped the area in the morning, Raja, along with his mother by mistake came in contact with a live wire following which he and his mother both died on the spot.
