Jammu: A fresh batch of 278 pilgrims today left for the twin base camps of Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas amidst tight security.
The batch comprising 158 men, 68 women and 52 sadhus left in six vehicles from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for Pahalgam and Baltal in Kashmir this morning, a police officer said.
The yatra will conclude on August 18 when the holy mace will reach the cave shrine.
