Mumbai:
The Bombay High Court has directed the Information & Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry to issue a fresh show-cause notice to TV channel Colors over reality show Bigg Boss.
Colors had earlier moved Bombay High Court on I&B Ministry's order asking it to move Big Boss to a slot between 11:00 pm and 05:00 am. It had also ordered another reality show, Rakhi Ka Insaaf, to be allowed to air only between that slot.
Issuing the order, the ministry had said the "adult" content of the shows was inappropriate for children - it cited, among others, abusive language as a major concern.
Colors then took the government to court and got a stay. The Bombay High Court ruled that the program could continue in its 9 pm slot till December 3.
