No, Nia Sharma will not appear in Bigg Boss 11, the Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai actress told news agency PTI. On Wednesday, the actress attended a media event for upcoming reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi (in which is participated) and told reports that she will not feature in the controversial reality show, which is hosted by superstar Salman Khan. "I don't know how my name started appearing everywhere but I don't entertain such news," PTI quoted her as saying. That's one name crossed out from the list of celebs reportedly participating in the show, including Dhinchak Pooja, Student Of The Year actress Sana Saeed and Nia's Jamai Raja co-star Achint Kaur.
Of participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi, a dare-based reality show, Nia told PTI: "I was very apprehensive to sign the show. I thought I would not survive in the show beyond one or two episodes because I am scared of these things (creepy insects) in real life. But I am so happy the way I performed. I cried before every stunt. It was tough and I used to get scared looking at snakes, crocodiles, but eventually I did it. I didn't quit."
Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8 was exhaustively shot in Spain with filmmaker Rohit Shetty as host. "If it weren't for Rohit, it wouldn't have been as much fun performing the stunts. He is somebody who motivates you, you get a boost to perform well. He has been a stunt man so his personal advices are very helpful," she said.
Television actors like Nia Sharma, Hina Khan and Karan Wahi competed against wrestler Geeta Phogat and Bigg Boss alumni Manveer Gurjar and Lopamudra Raut in the show.
