Sheena Bora is being cited by police sources as new evidence recovered in her murder investigation. One of the many entries in neat handwriting says, "Depression has encircled me from all sides. Disgusting life it is. I hate my mother, that bloody b***h. She is not a mother. She is a witch...''

Indrani Mukerjea, who was arrested last week. The police says that the journal was found in recent searches at the Kolkata home of Sanjeev Khanna, who was Ms Mukerjea's first husband, and has allegedly confessed to his complicity in the killing of his step daughter in 2012.
The police says Ms Mukerjea switches between acknowledging that Ms Bora is dead, and maintaining that she lives in the US and is refusing to come forth because she "hates" her mother. Ms Bora was last seen alive on April 24, 2012; she was 24. The police says that evening, she was strangled in a car by her mother, Mr Khanna, and Ms Mukerjea's driver.
Police sources say that the diary of Ms Bora, over a decade old, helps establish a deeply fissured relationship between Ms Mukerjea and her daughter, who she publicly introduced as her sister.
The entry dated February 11, 2003 says "Oh! Happy Birthday to me! But I am not happy. It seems as if I have got nothing in my life. Nothing! My future seems very bleak to me. Just depression has encircled me from all sides. Disgusting life it is. I hate my mother, that bloody b***h. She is not a mother. She is a witch...''
Ms Bora was engaged to step brother Rahul Mukerjea, the son of Peter Mukerjea, who married Ms Mukerjea in 2002. The young couple's relationship was a source of tension for the family, Peter Mukerjea has reportedly told the police. He is also being questioned - for over 12 hours yesterday and then again today - about whether his wife and Ms Bora were entrenched in a financial dispute.
Mr Khanna shares a daughter named Vidhie with Ms Mukerjea. He has, according to the police, said that he agreed to help kill Ms Bora because he was told Ms Bora and her younger brother Mekhail were planning to kill Vidhie.
Ms Mukerjea has been charged additionally with attempting to kill Mekhail Bora.
