New Delhi:
Concerned about the preparations of next year's Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi, Commonwealth Federation chief Mike Fennell met Sports Minister MS Gill on Wednesday.
The two believed to have discussed the progress in the work related to the Games.
Briefing the media persons about the meeting Gill said, "We discussed all of Fennell's areas of concern and I will now report to the Prime Minister about the meeting."
He also said that there will be further meetings over the next week.
Fennell arrived in New Delhi along with the delegates from all Commonwealth countries on Tuesday night. The delegates were easily visible but Fennell was whisked away.
Fennell is also going to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh; all the focus is on this crucial meeting.
The Commonwealth Games Chief had written a letter to the organising committee warning that India's preparations for the games were behind schedule and had in fact asked the Prime Minister to intervene.
