Games on track but we are nervous: Delhi CM

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has said that arrangements are on schedule for the Commonwealth Games that are 13 months away, but she admitted that the government was nervous.

She brushed aside the CAG report that said the games projects were hopelessly behind schedule, saying the report was eight months old.

"That must be about 8 months old. Obviously we can't complete projects one year back. We will complete the projects, but we are nervous," the chief minister said.

The Delhi government has to report to the home ministry on the progress on Tuesday.

On the ongoing controversy over her government's move to rein in the MCD, Sheila said, "Don't want to take away the rights of MCD, but duality makes work suffer."
