Police have arrested two people today for their alleged role in the killing of two engineers of a private road building company who were shot dead in Bihar's Darbhanga district last month.
Munni Devi, head of Baheri block and also sister of gangster Santosh Jha, and her husband Sanjay Laldeo were arrested from outside Laheriasarai station, Deputy Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar Singh said.
The two were absconding and police had attached their property, Mr Singh told PTI.

According to the police, two men on motorcycles attacked the project engineers - Brajesh Kumar and Mukesh Kumar - while they were supervising road construction at Darbhanga-Kusheshwarsthan highway.
Non-payment of levy was said to be the motive behind the murder of the two engineers.
The Darbhanga killing had triggered widespread criticism across the country and opposition had raised issue of deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar headed grand secular alliance government.
"Jungle Raj (lawlessness) is back in Bihar. In the run-up to Assembly polls, we were saying that there will be Jungle Raj-2 in Bihar if Nitish-Lalu combine wins the elections," Union Minister and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan of the BJP-led alliance that lost the assembly elections in October and November had said.
