Rajasthan:
A dam broke at Gararda in Bundi district of Rajasthan which led to flooding in seven villages in the state.
Even though there have been no reports of casualties but there are reports of loss of livestock and valuables. The capacity of the dam was 107 feet and it was holding about 45 feet of water when it gave in.
The fields have been flooded and rice, maze and soyabean were major crops that have been affected.
The dam was made only seven years ago and it is suspected that faulty design or material could be a cause of the incident.
