Durgapur: A gas leak at Durgapur Steel Plant in West Bengal took place earlier today. It has now been sealed.
27 people have been hospitalized. They were allegedly working at a blast furnace that was near the site of the gas leak. Some of those hospitalized are reported to be in critical condition.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the gas that it was methane gas that leaked.
