Gauri Khan has not formally opened the gates of her interior designing store, Gauri Khan Designs, but she already has her first client - Varun Dhawan, whose new home will be designed by the 46-year-old interior designer. Varun's mother Karuna Dhawan is also helping Gauri select themes for the actor's new place. Gauri shared a picture of Ms Dhawan selecting wallpaper designs and captioned it: "Delighted to welcome our first client at our flagship #GKD store in Juhu, Mumbai, as she puts together a great selection for Varun's new pad. Love your choice Lally! (sic)"
Gauri's portfolio comprises actor Ranbir Kapoor's Pali Hills flat, a nursery for Karan Johar's twins Roohi and Yash and KJo's terrace. Apart from the celebrity clients, Gauri has also designed a posh Mumbai restaurant (and her first) ARTH, which opened last month. Here are pictures:

Last month, Gauri also shared pictures of her work-in-progress flagship store, which looks promising.
Gauri Khan, wife of actor Shah Rukh Khan, professionally ventured into interior designing by designing furniture for Sussanne Khan's The Charcoal Project in 2010. A few years later, Gauri launched her own store The Design Cell and now she awaits the opening of Gauri Khan Designs.
Apart from interior designing, Gauri Khan also produces film through Red Chillies Entertainment. She debuted as producer with Main Hoon Na, starring her husband Shah Rukh Khan and followed it up with films like Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and Dear Zindagi.
