Golma Devi, the wife of the influential Meena leader Kirori Mal Meena has resigned from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's ministry.
In the last assembly elections, the Congress was five seats short of a majority.
A group of five independent MLAs led by Kirori Lal Meena helped the Congress form the government in December. Once these five leave as seems inevitable, the Gehlot government will fall into a minority.
