Unnao:
A girl was burnt to death in the Ghonghi Rautapur village of Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh.
The villagers saw a woman who was on fire running in the forest, police said. They also saw a Maruti Omni van leaving the area, which is around 8 kms from Lucknow-Kanpur highway, they added.
The girl's body was burnt beyond recognition but police said she could be around 20 years old.
Police have recovered canisters of petrol from the area. They are yet to identify the girl and the attackers.
