Goa: Over 250 houses collapse under heavy rains

Panaji: Incessant rains continued to lash Goa on Saturday, with several families remained trapped in their houses in the border taluka of Canacona. Over 250 houses here have collapsed due to the flood so far.

State administration confirmed that other 400 houses were inundated due to the rains, which have lasted three days already. The MET department predicts that the showers will continue for two more days.
