Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has welcomed his first child. He made the announcement on Twitter with a photo with his newborn daughter.
"God has been pleased and sent a gift in the form of a daughter," tweeted Tejashwi, the heir apparent of former Union minister and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Yadav.
As soon as the adorable picture was posted, his timeline was flooded with congratulatory messages.
Among those to wish him were Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The AAP leader tweeted that the little one had come as a blessing during the auspicious time of Navratri.
Priyanka Chaturvedi, Rajya Sabha MP from the Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray faction, too, shared her best wishes.
