New Delhi: Google marks India's 66th Republic Day with a vibrant and colorful doodle. It showcases the path leading from India Gate to Rashrapati Bhavan, located in the heart of the capital, decorated with flowers. Men and women dressed in traditional Indian attire - in kurta pajamas and sarees - can be seen walking and waving cheerfully in the doodle. Google is inscribed in yellow color at the bottom of the decorated path.
The Republic Day Celebrations this time will be witnessed by US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, who are on a three-day visit to India. Mr Obama is chief guest for the occasion.
A heavy blanket of security has been thrown in and around the capital due to the presence of the Obamas. This is the first time that a US President will be the chief guest in the Republic day celebrations of India.
