Patna:
After the brutal murder of Dr BD Singh at Bihar's Gopalgunj prison on Monday, heads are finally rolling.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has transferred Gopalgunj DM, Pankaj Lal, and IG (Prisons), Ramesh Lal.
Jail inmates beat the doctor to death because he refused to issue them fake heath certificates. The jail staff stood and watched as the doctor who was called in to attend on a sick inmate was attacked by seven prisoners.
The family of the doctor had said he had received threats earlier and that they had given a written complaint, but no action was taken.
