New Delhi:
It will be an extended weekend for government officials as the Centre has decided to advance the holiday for 'Eid-e-Milad' to Monday instead of Tuesday.
The government issued a circular today saying it has been brought to the notice of the Personnel Ministry that Eid-e-Milad falls on December 12 and not on December 13, as notified earlier.
"It has been decided to shift the Milad-un-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad holiday to December 12 in place of December 13, as notified earlier for all central government administrative offices at New Delhi," the notification said.
