Government cannot manage allies, says BJP: Highlights

Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Niti Gadkari today opened the national executive of the party in Surajkund in Haryana.

BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad addressed the media after the first session of the meeting.

Here are the highlights of the meet:

  • BJP is not opposed to reform. BJP is proud of its record of governance, reform, pro-people policy and equitable growth.
  • The government isn't working; it is unable to manage allies and blames the Opposition for all that is wrong.
  • BJP president has questioned the PM and Sonia Gandhi why they are blaming BJP for their wrong doings? How can they fasten consequences of their own bad government on the opposition party?
  • BJP President also discussed violence in Assam. He said Assam violence is not communal, it is due to international interference.
  • The Government has disregard for constitutional bodies.
  • Naked abuse of CBI is being done to keep allies together and heckle the Opposition. Abuse of CBI has crossed all limits.
  • An extension counter of the CBI should be opened at the Congress Office.
  • The country is on the verge of a big change. There could be elections anytime. It is doubtful that the government will last its term.
  • The mantra of economics with ecology, environment and ethic sums up good governance. We have the benchmark of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.
