New Delhi: Education and healthcare sectors are neglected by Narendra Modi-led government, Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen said today.
"Education and health care were neglected by UPA government and it is more neglected by the present government," Mr Sen said at an event in Delhi.
"...it was not that the previous government was not biased in terms of its own views but biaseness is much more evident now," he added.
The Nobel prize-winner economist also said that India's nuclear power plants pose danger. "I am worried our environmental sensitivities are confined to carbon," he added.
