Govt concerned over Air India pilot agitation

New Delhi: As the deadlock between the striking Air India pilots and management continues, the government is becoming increasingly concerned over the agitation, according to sources.

The sources also said that the government has suggested to the Air India management that talks with other airlines to accommodate passengers of cancelled flight should be initiated. These airlines include Indigo and Jet Airways.

Also, the Civil Aviation Ministry is going to hold a meeting regarding the impact of the agitation on passengers on Tuesday morning, the sources added.

They claimed that Air India is on a ventilator and senior pilots need to cooperate to revive it.
