Jaipur:
National Green Tribunal's Bhopal bench has issued a notice to the Centre, Rajasthan government and National Tiger Conservation Authority on a Public Interest Litigation alleging illegal mining in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
Justice Dalip Singh of NGT has sought response by November 30 on the notices issued to ministry of environment, forests and climate change (MoEFCC), Rajasthan government, Principle Chief Conservator of Forest and Chief Wild Life Warden Rajasthan and Filed Director, Ranthambore Tiger Project, Sawai Madhopur along with the NTCA.
The petition has alleged illegal mining and mass irregularities in forest department in Rajasthan.
