Grenades hurled at police station in Kashmir; three injured

Srinagar: Militants hurled a grenade at the Sopore Police Station in Baramulla district today, leaving three people, including two policemen, injured.

The grenade exploded at the main gate of the police station, 52 kms from here, at 9:55 AM, official sources said.

Two policemen and a civilian were injured, they said.

Security forces have launched a hunt for the assailants, the sources said, adding no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
