Rahul Gandhi visited Shree Swaminarayan Mandir and Shree Gopinathji Mandir in Gadhada between meetings and public rallies today. On Wednesday, the Congress Vice-President
stoked controversy after making an entry in a register maintained for "non-Hindu" devotees in Somnath Temple, Gujarat. Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi lashed out against the alleged corruption and irregularities by BJP president Amit Shah's son, Jay Shah. Mr Gandhi accused the centre of not letting the parliament run to avoid discussion on the Rafale Deal. Rahul Gandhi also criticised BJP government's demonetisation policy.
The Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi is attending public meetings and addressing voters today in poll-bound Gujarat. After Lathi, Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the Gopinathji Mandir, Botad and Bhavnagar today as part of his campaign trail. BJP, led by PM Narendra Modi, is also engaged in a full-fledged campaign across the state.
Gujarat will vote in two phases on 9th and 14th December for the Assembly election. The votes of 182 constituencies will be counted on 18th December.
