The BJP has ruled Gujarat for 22 consecutive years and exit polls as well as a poll of exit polls, which is an aggregate of nine exit polls conducted in Gujarat, predicts another straight win for the BJP. The poll of exit polls predicts that the BJP will win 116 seats, which is one seat more from their win in 2012, while the Congress is expected to win around 65 seats, which is only a slight improvement from their previous win of 61 seats.
