Gandhinagar:
Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel on Monday launched a software system called 'System of Application of Technology for Human Resources Improvement (SATHI)', aimed at improving the capacity and skills of government employees working on social welfare schemes.
"Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel launched SATHI, which is a software system aimed at improving capacity and skill of government employees working on social welfare schemes of the state government," an official statement by Gujarat government said.
Ms Patel also said that the software would bring about a total change in the traditional and routine administrative working procedures of Gujarat state government employees.
It would enhance their potential and open up new spheres of knowledge, while launching the software for the general administrative department (GAD) of the state government, she said.
"It is the best electronic learning system. It will surely save human hours and energy as well as improve work culture. The primary objective of this new software is to connect routine government administrative and daily works with electronic governance," she said.
As per the Gujarat state government's statement, the intellectual property rights (IPR) of this new software would rest solely with the Gujarat government.
