In a tragic incident, four babies have died and four others were hospitalised in Maheshwari Nagar of Ghandhi-dham in Kutch.
All of them were given shots during a measles vaccination drive as part of 'Mamta Day', which is organised by the district health department where children and pregnant women are administered vaccines.
The children died within minutes after being given the shots.
The drive has been stopped since then and an enquiry ordered.
Angry people ransacked the hospital and even attacked a doctor.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi said that those responsible for the unfortunate incident would be "severely" punished.
