New Delhi: In an attempt to resolve the ongoing war between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Gujarat Governor Kamla Beniwal over the appointment of the state Lokayukta, a BJP delegation led by L K Advani met Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today.
The BJP says it will not allow Parliament to function till the Lokayukta row is resolved. It said the government cannot expect cooperation from the Opposition if the Centre acts unconstitutionally against a state government.
Congress MPs, meanwhile, are protesting against disruption of Parliament by BJP MPs.
