Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said that her government is open for talks with the Gujjar Community.
Train movement on the Delhi-Mumbai tracks has been disrupted since Thursday evening when the Gujjars began their agitation to demand five per cent reservation in government jobs, within the legal limit of 50 per cent.
The agitation has resulted in cancellation and diversion of many trains passing through the route. Today, the August Kranti Rajdhani Express scheduled to depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin Station in New Delhi to Mumbai Central has was cancelled.
A delegation of Gujjar community would hold talks with the government at Bayana in Jaipur today to discuss the issue of five per cent quota in jobs.
Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla took the decision to hold talks with the government yesterday following which the meeting was planned.
Mr Bainsla is not a part of the delegation which would hold talks with a committee of three ministers, that comprises of Rajendra Rathore, Arun Chaturvedi and Hem Singh Bhadana.
"The meeting would take place between the Gujjar delegation and three ministers at Bayana in the evening," IG Bharatpur Biju George Joseph told PTI.
Meanwhile, around 500-700 members of the community are present at the railway tracks near Pilukapura in the district, another police officer said.
As the number of people on the track dwindled yesterday, Mr Bainsla asked the community members last evening to gather maximum people on the track to build pressure on the government.
