Chandigarh: Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki today felt dizzy at the Independence Day parade, officials said.
Doctors said he felt dizzy owing to hot and humid conditions. "His condition is stable. If required he will be taken to hospital," a doctor told IANS.
After unfurling the national flag in Chandigarh, Mr Solanki, who is also the Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, was delivering his address when his condition deteriorated.
"For some seconds he stood motionless at the podium. His staff offered him a chair and a glass of water," said an official.
