Haryana rape cases: Congress defends Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda

New Delhi: Congress today defended Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda over a series of rape cases in the state. Here are the highlights of what party leader and spokesperson Renuka Chaudhary said:

• Do not think we need to advise the Haryana Chief Minister.
• Action is being taken.
• It is not a simple, black and white law and order issue.
• It is a complex societal issue - we need to deal with it that way.
