New Delhi: The Haryana Cabinet, which met in New Delhi today, decided to convene the monsoon session of Assembly in the first week of September.
The Cabinet, which met at Haryana Bhavan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, also decided to grant extension of area of enquiry of the Dhingra Commission, which has been entrusted to inquire into issuing of licences to develop commercial colonies in Sector 83 of Gurgaon during the previous regime.
Disclosing about the decisions of the Haryana Cabinet, Agriculture Minister Om Prakash Dhankhar said that now the area of enquiry of SN Dhingra Commission has been extended.
It will now cover licences issued in four villages of district Gurgaon, namely Sihi, Sikohpur, Kherki Daula and Sikanderpur Bada.
He said that now the Commission will enquire into licences issued for developing all types of colonies in these four villages and not commercial colonies alone. Not only Sector 83, but all sectors from 78 to 86 would come under the ambit of the Dhingra Commission's enquiry, Dhankhar said.
