New Delhi:

The BJP seems to have softened its stand against its dissident leader Arun Shourie. BJP chief Rajnath Singh on Tuesday asked Arun Shourie to clarify his comments on the party but said that no decision has been taken on Shourie's expulsion from the party.

Shourie has accused the BJP brass of making the party their private property and said that it is their unwillingness to listen that has left him with no option but to speak out in public.

In an exclusive interview to NDTV on Tuesday Shourie attacked the top BJP leadership including party president Rajnath Singh and L K Advani. He had particularly harsh words for Rajnath, calling him "Alice in Blunderland".

Arun Shourie on his part has dared the BJP to expel him after his scathing attack on the top leadership in an exclusive interview to NDTV. Speaking to reporters on Monday night, Shourie accused the BJP brass of making the party their private property and said that its unwillingness to listen that left him with no option but to speak out in public.
